About: The Mea Matic White Sparkling Wine is a natural sparkling wine produced by Matic Wines, a family-owned winery located in the Slovenian part of Styria near Maribor. The winery is managed by Matija Žerjav, affectionately known as Matic, who practices biodynamic viticulture across 9 hectares of vineyards. The wine is crafted using the ancestral method (Pét-Nat), where fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks with wild yeasts and continues in the bottle, resulting in a naturally sparkling wine. The name "Mea" is Latin for "my," reflecting Matic's personal connection to this wine, which was his first commercial sparkling wine.

Tasting notes: Cloudy, unfiltered with a lively effervescence. Aromas of lime, green apple, and subtle herbal notes. Crisp and refreshing with flavors of citrus, green apple, and a hint of brioche. The wine exhibits a clean minerality and a lively acidity.
