2021 Schodl St Laurent Dorflagen

Grape: St. Laurent

Vinification: After destemming the berries, they went into stainless steel fermenter for cold maceration and afterwards the juice went through fermentation in 10 days. After some more skin contact the wine rest in big oak barrels of 2000L in an old natural loess cellar with a constant temperature of 14° C. After 12 month maturing the wine was blended together and bottled.

Tasting Notes: Bold, carmine red with a dark core, in the nose fruity and floral aromas; on the palate impressions of raspberries, sour cherries and bramble berries with spicy notes, juicy and easily drinkable, intensity and vibrant on the tongue.
