2021 Frontonio El Casetero Garnacha

This delicious everyday wine is a must in the home of every lighter Spanish wine lover.  It's been called "spicy", "pinot like" and it's an amazing value for what it offers.  It's light in the glass, full of red fruit, white pepper, herbaceousness, yet doesn't ring of some of the overly cloying high tones that many competitors in the crowded field of Spanish inexpensive Garnacha suffer from.  The grapes are dry farmed, and Fernando Mora, Spain's youngest "Master of Wine", is both a winemaking genius and a genuinely great guy.
